Having graduated from massage therapy school in June, 2008, a wonderful world of opportunities have come my way and I am ever so grateful. As a student at RMIHA, I was approached with a job opportunity....to be the future Soigneur (a french noun which means one who provides care for others.) of the Giant Professional Mountain Biking Team. As a student, I felt blessed to have this position as a possible future job. As a graduate, I know I am blessed.

I just came back from three weeks of training with the team in Vermont and Quebec. Wow, what an experience! I love mountain biking and to see it on a professional level was amazing. Not only was I providing sports massage to world class athletes and Olympians, but I also cooked meals for the team, transported them to race sites, registered athletes, and other various tasks.

I learned so much and had such and amazing experience. I must thank the great staff at Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts for providing me with my education and confidence in the field of bodywork. I am excited to work in this field and cannot wait to see what door opens next.
