About Me: Rebecca Mauldin is the founder and director of Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts in Durango, Colorado. She is a nationally certified massage therapist specializing in neuromuscular therapy and integrative bodywork. She founded RMIHA in 2001 in order to blend consciousness and compassion with rigorous academic standards in massage therapy education. She is a passionate, caring, and knowledgeable educator who believes in the value of each student and each client she touches.

About Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts:
www.instituteofhealingarts.com
Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts, Inc. was founded in 2001 in order to combine excellence in academics with opportunities for self exploration, healing, and the development of compassion and mindfulness. Each year, RMIHA offers only one to two sessions, ensuring the highest quality possible for your educational experience. The school regards the spirit and emotions as vitally important aspects of massage therapy, and students are trained to recognize and explore these dimensions of self. Combining this emphasis with strong academics makes our graduates outstanding massage therapists and energy workers.

Historically, our graduates have scored above national and state average on the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage Exam. The professionalism, ethical standards, and caliber of bodywork of RMIHA graduates make them highly regarded by employers.

Since its inception, RMIHA students, graduates, and teachers have touched thousand of lives with their healing presence in the world.

RMIHA Mission
Our mission is to provide the best massage therapy education in the country in a nurturing, supportive environment where the student is the top priority and the values of compassion and self growth guide everything we do.

Corporate Philosophy
Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts, Inc. recognizes that we are an integral member of a greater community. We strive to be the best global citizen we can be, hoping to make our communities stronger and healthier through our service.
RMIHA students and teachers have provided over 2000 hours of service to our communities.

Location
Durango is a vibrant community in southwest Colorado. It has a vital alternative/holistic health community, plenty of job opportunities and social and recreational activities for students. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, Durango offers a true Rocky Mountain experience--there's tons of hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, rafting and kayaking in our backyard. Area attractions include Durango Mountain Ski Resort, the Animas River, Mesa Verde National Park, and the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
